With warmer weather here for us, I am constantly trying to figure out ways to get active with our kids that do not involve TVs, tablets, or electronics. And even better, I love free (or next to free things that we can do together). This list of 40 free ideas to do with your kids is a great way to get moving and spend quality time together.
I love showing them that we don’t have to drop hundreds of dollars at a pricey amusement park to have fun. Most of these ideas use things that you probably already have around the house or can buy cheap at your local discount store.
A really cool idea is to print off this list, put it on the fridge and let your kids pick out what you are going to do together!
All of these ideas are free (or cheap) and easy to do family activities!

Many libraries have story time, art and crafts, or other planned activities. Or, just head over and check out some great books!
